Kula-Gold-Logo 50Kula Gold’s Rankin Dome Rare Earths Project (E77/2709 2753 2768) is located 10km west and 26km north west of Southern Cross.

⛏️ Project Highlights:

  • Total Rare Earth Elements (tREE) values of up to 1,080ppm have returned from combined auger geochemical samples, with 74% of samples above 115ppm tREE.
  • Joint Venture partner Australian Critical Minerals completed 249 hole shallow auger sample program at the Rankin Dome Project.
  • Results from this program released in December 2023 – with Kula Gold Managing Director Ric Dawson commenting:

“We are encouraged by the early success from ACM at the joint venture Rankin Dome REE Project near Southern Cross.”

Kula-Gold-Logo 502023 Advancements at the Rankin Dome Project:

⛏️ In December 2023 – Kula Gold reports results from the maiden rc drilling and high-definition shallow auger sampling program at the Rankin Dome Rare Earths Project by joint venture partner Australian Critical Minerals Pty Ltd.

Kula Gold Managing Director Ric Dawson said:

“We are encouraged by the early success from ACM at the joint venture Rankin Dome REE Project near Southern Cross.”

  • HIGHLIGHTSfrom ACM ASX Announcement.

    • Thick intrusive hosted rare earth mineralisation across the Rankin Dome maiden drilling program
    • 132 of 258 shallow auger samples returned significant assay results up to 1365ppm TREO
    • All six RC drillholes returned thick continuous high-grade TREO (total rare earth oxides) with several ending in mineralisation
    • 100% of drillholes have intervals greater than 1000ppm TREO with highlights including: o Grades up to 2534 ppm TREO; o Longest intercept of 111m at 913ppm TREO from 3m; and o Highest multiple-metre intercept of 3m at 2026 ppm TREO from 12m in RDRC001
    • Magnetic rare earths (Pr, Nd, Tb, Dy) comprise 20% to 26% of significant result intervals
    • Maiden RC drilling program clearly defines new drill targets with the anomaly open to the north and south

⛏️ In September 2023 – Kula Gold reports the completion of a 249 hole higher definition shallow auger sampling program at the Rankin Dome Project by joint-venture partner Australian Critical Minerals Pty Ltd (‘ACM’).

  • Joint Venture partner Australian Critical Minerals completes 249 hole shallow auger sample program at the Rankin Dome Project.

  • 900m RC drill program is currently in progress to test areas of REE anomalism in soils.

Kula’s Chief Executive Officer Ric Dawson said:

“We extend our sincere gratitude to Stark Drilling for their exceptional support in facilitating our decision to mobilise drilling resources in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. Our primary objective continues to be the swift completion of our drill program at the Kirup Lithium Project. However, we are also closely monitoring the progress made by ACM at the Rankin Dome Project, as it has piqued our keen interest.”

Kula-Gold-Logo 502022 Advancements at the Rankin Dome Project:

⛏️ In August 2022 – Kula Gold announced it has entered into a binding Farm-In Agreement (‘Agreement’) with Australian Critical Minerals Pty Ltd (‘ACM’) (ACN 658 906 159) in respect of the Company’s Rankin Dome Project comprising of three tenements being E77/2709, E77/2753 and E77/2768 (‘Rankin Dome Project’).

⛏️ In July 2022 – Kula reported anomalous total Rare Earth Element (tREE) results from stage 2 geochemical sampling at Rankin Dome.

  • Total Rare Earth Elements (tREE) values of up to 1,080ppm have returned from combined auger geochemical samples, with 74% of samples above 115ppm tREE.
  • Target definition and exploration program design in progress.
  • Geochemistry results show two distinct populations of tREE enrichment suggesting two potential sources and hosts for tREE enrichment at Rankin Dome; a peralkaline intrusive host (akin to Dubbo Zirconia – Australian Strategic Minerals Ltd) (ASX: ASM) and a sedimentary host from secondary enrichment processes suggestive of an ion adsorption clay style enrichment (similar to Mukutu – Ionic Rare Earths Ltd) (ASX: IXR).
  • HREE enrichment averages 8.45 times the average Granite crustal abundance as calculated from values presented in the Field Geologists Handbook Monograph 9 by the AusIMM.
  • Calculated HREE fractions correlate with margins of granitic plutons from geophysical assessment, whilst LREE fractions are clustered over the top of the same interpreted granitic plutons at depth.
  • Result validation and project re-interpretation utilising all available data is in progress, to define targets for further exploration including the potential for drill program design.

⛏️ In May 2022 – results from the Phase 2 geochemical program were released identifying 70% of the 375 samples from Rankin Dome sampling were above 115ppm Total Rare Earth Elements (REE), with 2 samples peaking at 1080ppm.

⛏️ In February 2022 – auger drilling identifies anomalous Lithium results at Rankin Dome Project

Location of Kula’s Southern Cross Gold Projects.

Figure. Location of Rankin Dome 1 (ELA77/2709) and Rankin Dome 2 (E77/2753) before Rankin Dome 3 (E77/2768) was added in 2022.

⛏️ Rankin Dome 1’s ELA77/2709 was applied for in July 2020 which covers approx 160km2 and is located 10km west of Southern Cross.

A field trip was completed in September 2020 which successfully located a 1988 water bore drill hole which had been assayed for gold, and identified gold values of 0.46g/t Au over 2m from 10m vertical downhole in amphibolite. 3 historic RC drill holes were located during the field visit which are not in the DMIRS database.

The drill cuttings were logged as amphibolite (greenstone possibly meta High Mg Basalt) unit with a soapy feel, although the area is mapped as granite. The amphibolite is over 1km wide which adds significantly to the prospectivity of this project. The amphibolite is not obvious in the open file magnetics which show a granite signature suggesting the amphibolite is overlying the granite in this area.

Landowner agreement has been secured over a significant portion of the licence including the area with amphibolite. On granting of the license, the initial work plan will comprise of a shallow geochemical air-core drilling program over each target area totalling approximately 200 holes.

Field team examines a waterbore from 1988 that is located within the Rankin Dome Project.

⛏️ Rankin Dome 2 (E77/2753) was acquired in February 2021 after a field visit in late 2020 showed ultramafics outcropping in the north-west corner of the licence application.

The magnetic interpretation shows about 6km of potential Ultramafic strike and a further 3.5km of strike in the south-east corner of the licence which require testing. Historical drilling in 1972 by International Nickel Australia intersected 27m @ 0.17% Ni validating the prospective nature of the Ultramafics which trend SE into the new licence.

This licence abuts and extends the company’s existing Rankin Dome 1 Project (E77/2709).

⛏️ Rankin Dome 3 E77/2768 will cover other ultramafic potential identified by the company’s geological team and is worthy of follow-up exploration.
